conflict resolution offerings

Mediation

Mediation is a process to support two or more folks in conflict to reach deeper understanding and potential resolution. At Moksha, we practice a facilitative style of mediation that centers the participants and empowers them with the space and tools to deepen understanding, connection, and generate solutions. Our holistic approach to mediation is one that acknowledges conflict as a spiritual, systemic, personal, and interpersonal experience. Mediation is an avenue for conflict resolution for situations where the legal system has no remedy or falls short. Unlike an adversarial system where the law decides a winner and loser, participants have the opportunity to collaborate and determine their own outcomes based on their experience and values.

Coaching

Conflict coaching is a one-on-one service to support folks who are feeling stuck in their communication and interpersonal interactions. Coaching is a place to build out your communication tool belt.

Coaching at Moksha allows you to further your understanding of a particular conflict or dynamic, to sort out what is yours, and figure out where you can move forward. While coaching touches on the past, there is a focus on the present and future planning so that you can move through conversations and interactions with more ease and understanding.

Coaching is a great tool for a variety of situations including wanting support as you work through interpersonal conflict, in preparation for mediation, or in lieu of mediation when it is not possible.

This is a personalized service that is geared towards your specific needs. For organizational clients, our team is experienced in supporting leaders in their communication and dynamics with those they support. Other special areas of focus include polyamory, parenting, friendship, and co-living coaching.

“My coaching session with Robin was a very positive and helpful experience for me. Right away, they were able to create a very safe environment where I felt comfortable opening up about my experiences, feelings, and concerns. Robin is an excellent listener who was able to help me unpack a deeper level of understanding of the conflict I was working through. They took a resolution-oriented approach, focusing on the goals that I hoped to achieve. Robin is very knowledgeable, respectful, thoughtful, and professional; I would highly recommend working with them.”
